Question 2: What is the so special about Lewin Auctions?

Ans: Until now the auction market place has been dominated by eBay and alike. Lewin
Auctions is a new auction shopping concept in the Americas, which has become extremely
popular in Australia and Europe within the past 4 years. We are the only online
auction offering three or really four types of auctions to choose from. This is
to guarantee that everyone will find the auction they prefer and have fun with.
There is a fast paced Live Online Auction, where you race against the clock and
bid against other Participants. This will surely raise your pulse! The second type
is Lowest Unique Bid Auction, where the one who has placed the lowest unique bid
gets to purchase the product for the amount of the Bid. This could be even as low
as $0.01. Can’t beat that! Then there is the Highest Bid Auction, where the bidder
who bids the highest amount gets to purchase the product for that amount. This auction

Question 3: Are the products all new?

Ans: All items are premium quality as if you purchased them from any reputable store.
Where applicable, the items are delivered in the original manufacturer’s packaging
and come with manufacturer’s warranty. For certain items you may also have the possibility
to purchase a service contract, for which you need to pay extra. We will let you
know the cost in your invoice. |

Only exceptions will be paintings and works of art or antiques which will be marked
accordingly.

Question 4: Can I sell my things on your website?
|
|
Ans: Unfortunately it is not possible to sell your things on our website as Lewin
Auctions is not an auction website such as for example eBay. We only sell new premium
quality items.

Question 5: Why do I have to purchase bids in advance?
|
|
Purchase of bid package is required to facilitate the auction procedure.

Question 6: Can I get a refund for the bids I have purchased or Free bids?
|

No, all bids on your account are NON-REFUNDABLE once you purchased the bid package.
Therefore, we suggest that you only purchase the amount of bids that you think you
will be using. Any free bids, bonus bids, bids you received for referrals are also
non-refundable.Also, bids cannot be transferred to another account.

Question 7: The same item appears under different auction types. Is this the
same item?
|

No, each item listed is a separate item with its unique Lot number.

Question 8: What is the minimum amount that I should bid in the lowest unique
bid auction?
|

The minimum bid amount is number 1, which represents 1 cent or $0.01 and should
be a price that you as a bidder. |

Question 9: Do I have purchase the product, if I win the auction?
|
|
No, you are not obligated to purchase the item. You may inform us by email that
you have decided not to purchase the item and we may offer that item to the second
place winner.

Question 10: How do I know I am the winner and what happens next?
|
|
After the auction closes the auctioneer will determine the winning bidder and verify
that all bids. The winner will receive an email notification within 72 hours of
the end of auction time along with the invoice for the product and shipping fees
where applicable. The winner then will have 14 days to pay the invoice. If the payment
has not been received by the specified time limit we assume that you have decided
not to purchase the item and may offer the item to the second place winner.

Question 11: How do I know get the product/service?
|
|
After payment for the item has been received the product will be sent to you by
a traceable currier, such as UPS. Some vouchers can be sent by e-mail and Gift cards
will be mailed also by UPS or similar.

Question 12: I wanted to purchase the item as a gift. Is it possible to send
the item directly to the receiver of the gift?
|
|
No, we will only send the items to the address given to us at registration which
will have to match the credit card address. This is to avoid fraud.

Question 13: Do you ship to other countries besides USA, Canada and UK?
|
|
Yes, we ship anywhere in the world.
|

Question 14: What about sales tax and customs fees?
|
|
The sales tax is included in the country where the shipment originates. Your country
may require you to do customs clearance for the item and you are responsible for
paying any VAT, sales tax, customs duty or other fees which may be required by the
laws of your country.

Question 15: What if a particular Model Number is not used in my country? |
|
Please note that Model Numbers of some products may be different from the Model
Number stated in the Auction. This is particularly the case with electronics in
different countries. If a particular model is not suitable for use in your country,
we will replace it with a corresponding model. |
